Delivery Policy

  • This Policy establishes the procedures that will apply to deliveries of products ordered from the website of Hunters Wholesale (the ‘Company’) and forms part of the Terms and Conditions of sale.
  • The Delivery of products is via a third party delivery or courier service and subject to their terms and conditions of service. The Company have no control over products once they are dispatched from the warehouse and cannot guarantee any delivery time beyond the guarantees provided by the delivery or courier service. The Company cannot be held responsible or liable for any delays or for a failure to deliver within an stated time.
  • The Company cannot be held responsible for delays at ports or customs which may occur following the UK’s exit of the EU when products being imported or delivered outside of the UK

Standard UK Delivery

  • Standard delivery shall mean 2-3 working day to mainland Great Britain which excludes UK offshore islands, Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland; and deliveries of Heavy Goods and Large items.
  • Standard delivery is free for orders over £250 or £10.00 plus VAT for orders under £250.

Non-Standard UK Deliveries

  • The Company can arrange a delivery service for products that fall outside the standard deliveries however, if a Customer requires a non-standard delivery then they should contact the Company by email at sales@hunters-wholesalers.co.uk before placing an order to check whether delivery to a particular destination or within a non-standard timeframe is possible; and receive the cost of the proposed delivery.
  • Where products ordered are over the maximum weight, size or volume for a courier’s standard carriage charges, an additional delivery charge will apply. After receipt of an order for an oversized or overweight product, the Company will provide a quotation for a delivery charge and the Customer will have the option of continuing with the order, or cancelling it.
  • Scottish Highlands – AB36-38, AB55-56, FK17-21, IV1-39, IV52-54, IV63, KW1-14, PA21-40, PH19-26, PH30-41, PH49-50
  • Scottish Islands – HS1-9, IV40-51, IV55-56, KA27-28, KW15-17, PA20, PA41-49, PA60-78, PH42-44, ZE1-3                

 

Non UK Deliveries

  • Where delivery is required outside of the UK the Customer should contact the Company at sales@hunters-wholesalers.co.uk to confirm stock availability and delivery costs.
  • There may be additional import or customs taxes or fees which are the responsibility of the Customer.

 

 

 

Order dispatch

  • Most orders received by 3:30pm on a business day will usually be dispatched on the same day. Orders received after this time, or not received on a business day, will usually be dispatched on the next business day.

Delivery

  • All deliveries will require a signature, and it is the Customer’s sole responsibility to ensure that someone is available to receive and sign for the order when delivered. 
  • If no one is available to receive products, a calling card will be left by the delivery company which will include information for what to do which will include an option to re-arrange delivery or to collect parcel from the delivery company’s local depot (please confirm with the carrier what identification will be required before collecting).
  • If within 7 days (may vary between couriers) of an attempted delivery date the Customer has not re-arranged delivery or collected the parcel, it will be returned to the Company.
  • If a product is returned undelivered the Company shall attempt to contact the Customer to arrange re-delivery which will be subject to a payment of an additional delivery charge.
  • If re-delivery of a returned product is not arranged within 7 days of a product being returned then the Customer will be obliged to pay an additional storage fee of £1.00 per day before the products are dispatched.
  • If an order is incomplete in any way or is received damaged, the Customer should note this on the couriers delivery note and notify the Company, providing full details in writing within 3 business days of receiving the order

Collections

  • Customers can, if they prefer, collect the products from the warehouse by contacting the Company before placing an order to confirm that the products are in stock and to arrange a suitable time for a collection.
